India’s most unique shopping & entertainment festival is back in town. The summer edition of the SteppinOut market at Bengaluru’s Jayamahal Palace brought designers from across the city and the best brands to a single venue. With over 100 stalls, it featured everything from luxury brands to budget buys and housed all kinds of entertainment – from live music to exciting workshops. Coppernicus was stoked to be the mobility partners for this event.
The atmosphere there amidst all the fast-paced city was all that any Bangalorean could look forward to. The team at SteppinOut had left no detail uncovered— be it the decor or the quality of stalls on display. It was a very well organized setup. Even the rains or the sweltering heat did not deter spirits from visiting the market. As the lights came on in the evening, the entire vicinity felt cool and refreshing. Soon the music and the market buzz was in full swing.
As the kids ran around the market and were kept busy at the bouncy castle, the moms very busy shopping, we stepped out of our digital worlds as we sat at the bar sipping on a beer and making new friends. To the delight of everyone, people even brought their adorable pets to the market. It was heartwarming to see guests riding our electric bikes alongside an ensemble of delicious food, fun, and fashion. The energy was contagious.
Vibrant photo props made a great asset for colorful selfies and photos. The variety of cuisines at the food stalls made sure all our midnight cravings were satisfied. The aroma of food around the market had the visitors’ waiting in queues to taste every variety available.
Classics such as Mambo No 5, The Ketchup Song and Macarena kept the crowd on their feet. Reggae, jazz by Harini Iyer, pop by Rajat and Pramod, and Joshua and his bandmates played every song with a never-ending zeal. The Silent Disco by DJ Gaurav Siyal got everyone singing at the peak of their bathroom voices. It was a lovely sight to see people from all walks of life, young or old, having a good time.
The Steppinout Market was a super fun experience. We were glad to contribute to the smiles while the crew, kids, and adults tried out the Coppernicus electric bicycles to zoom around the market. No doubt it is Bangalore’s most unique & loved shopping festival. It was everything you would wish your weekend to be.
